Control
Running a yacht is running a very complex machine. With so many systems onboard, it is essential to rely on the right controlling systems. As good tools are making the crew great, it ends up with a safe, fuel efficient and reliable yachting experience.
With over 50 years of building yachts, and over 15 years of experience in servicing yachts abroad, we know what your crew is facing. Every Alarm, Monitoring and Control system should be clear and helpful to the crew. And with 21st century options as data collection, you can make your yacht smarter and more energy efficient. This avoids having distressed situations.
Our team of experts can make your safest and most efficient dreams come true.
BE safe with our full redundant systems
Alarm Monitoring & Control Systems
With our own in-house developed Alarm Monitoring & Control System (AMCS), any yacht of any size can have a state-of-the-art yet easy to use automation solution. It’s intuitive and clear layout provides an easy overview on the working of important pumps, generators, waterproof doors, main- and steering engines, fire systems, battery banks and more. For maximum safety all systems connected to our AMCS are redundant, guaranteeing full functioning, even in case of emergency.
Being completely modular and scalable in terms of configuration and complexity, our AMCS is suitable for yachts of any magnitude and custom fit to size. By using mesh network topology (providing multiple paths from sensor to workstation that the data can follow), multi-server system architecture, embedded software and extremely rigorous testing, the AMCS is a highly reliable and durable foundation for your vessel’s automation. A wide range of data security measures guarantees that operating the automation system happens both safely and securely. The modern vector-based graphic HMI allows for dynamic, interactive and intuitive interaction with the ship’s systems.
Facts & figures:
- Robust network architecture, which controls and monitors up to twenty thousand sensors
- Allows you to leave the engine room unmanned
- Combined with ‘Remote Connect’, the AMCS interface is available on portable devices off the yacht as well.

Control Connect
The distribution of signals, routing and cabling with the greatest finesse, is perhaps where De Keizer excelled the most since the early days. The precision of Anton de Keizer has always been highly valued in the maritime sector, which led the company to further specialization in yacht engineering. Nowadays the systems we’re installing on super yachts are a lot more complex and advanced, but even in delivering state-of-the-art technology, the high standards on work accuracy are still at the forefront.
Our fully in-house developed Control Connect embodies the completely secured network of dedicated alarm, monitoring and control cables on the entire yacht. To avoid any disruptions the network is laid out redundant and for maximum safety it is also equipped with fire-retardant cables and watertight sleeves. Each alarm panel or screen connected to Control Connect network can have full access to all functionality of the AMCS, allowing proper monitoring and reactivity. Guaranteeing the full functionality of all safety systems, from anywhere on the yacht. Our connect infrastructure philosophy ensures you are ready for the future and prepped for the connection and expansion with new -future- equipment
Facts & figures:
- More freedom for captain and team while the AMCS is continuously monitored
- The securely connected displays can be placed in any desired room on the yacht.
- Closed circuit connection prevents unwanted network entry
24/7 specialist support
Remote Connect
Remote Connect is our own globally secured and encrypted connectivity solution. This (1-on-1) exclusive connection allows you to have access to all your remote-connect-ready yacht technologies. Multiple systems can be checked and controlled from anywhere in the world, which allows crew or management to work more efficient by remotely checking yacht data, track the crew, or access the yacht’s e-mail. At the same time, we can give a owner a peace of mind by making security camera images available, so checking in on the yacht is always possible.
Facts & figures:
- One secure connection to provide both information from your yacht and access to your personal files on the yachts drives
- Encrypted security camera images at hand while you’re away from the yacht
- Yacht data and DEKA portal access allows you to monitor the functioning of the vessel

Advanced Sail Trim
The boundaries of technological possibilities still need to be found, that’s what our Advanced Sail Trim has proved again. In the past we only dared to dream of an autopilot that is able to hoist and trim the sails by itself. But our engineers are now able to link the stance of various sails to wind and speed data. The system enables sail trim adjustments to be made from the wheel, along with remote operation of the electric winches. Once the initial trim has been established, the system will adjust the sheets after each change of course, or after wind shifts, to retain efficient trim. In a tack, the headsail sheet is automatically eased and respectively tensioned. All the helmsman needs to do is steer the boat through the tack, or he can ask us to automate that as well…
Facts & figures:
- The system offers fully automated sail control for sail hoisting, tacking and trimming
- The Advanced Sail Trim is monitored by load sensors to make sure there’s no chance of excessive forces being applied that might cause a breakage

Integrated Navigation & Communication Systems
As a total integrator, De Keizer strives to bring together all high-end bridge equipment in one well-organized and harmonious glass paneled bridge display. Together with the owner’s team, we’ll put together a package with the navigation and communication hardware of your choice, from Radar, ECDIS and Autopilot to Rudder Roll stabilization, to Dynamic Positioning and Tracking. De Keizer will help assemble and design a bridge in which all desired information and functionalities are integrated together with the AMC system. The bridge, wings and other requested areas will be completed with VHF satcom, Enridium and conning. De Keizer provides a system in which bridge navigation and yacht data are easily presented at a glance, for efficient and safe navigation.
Facts & figures:
- We are now able to integrate up to even 30 navigation and communication into one glass panel bridge
- When connected to our ‘Control Connect’ network, all bridge information and yacht data is available on selected screens throughout the yacht

GUYS IN RED Portal
Logging detailed yacht data into the AMCS system is something most engineers have been able to implement for a while now. One highly valuable improvement is the possibility to make the data both live and historically available through a portal where it can be analyzed right away. De Keizer Marine Engineering has developed a safe system, which ensures one-way traffic (only allowing predetermined sets of information to be sent outwards) and enables the crew to display yacht data and analyses on portable devices in all areas on the vessel or even beyond it.
This portal not only enables the crew to review the performance of the yacht in real time in their offices, and, when Remote Control is integrated, it can also establish a secure connection with E.G. service suppliers across the globe, who can in return monitor the yacht and provide advice about onboard modifications and maintenance, or help schedule, prepare and execute repairs. The live monitoring of a yacht could allow disruptions to any systems to be caught – and dealt with – early on, making unscheduled repairs in yards a thing of the past.
Facts & figures:
- Live monitoring of the yacht enhances timely maintenance and therefore avoids down time in shipyards
- External monitoring provides the crew with insights and advise to optimize the yachts fuel and energy consumption
- The Guys In Red Portal promotes automation: the system detects when parts need to be replaced in time and can even order spare parts to be shipped to nearby shipyards
don't just feel safe. be safe.
Damage Control System
To ensure maximum safety on board, De Keizer has designed a Damage Control System to minimize possible damage or injury in the event of a collision or other incident. Both the bridge and engine room can be equipped with a watch system that signals in time that an officer is absent or down. A ‘cross flooding system’ prevents your yacht from tilting by pumping the fuel in the tanks from one side to the other in such a way that the vessel is balanced again. Needless to say we are more than prepared to equip your yacht with emergency lighting, watertight doors and a ‘collision system’, which in case of emergency prevents water from spreading.
Facts & figures:
- The Damage Control System is set up redundant, in case an emergency is causing the fallout of one system, the Damage Control System remains active
